Whitewater Falls
Photos and article by FastFred Ruddock
Some claim Whiterwater Falls to be the highest west of the Mississippi
River at 411 feet. The trail from the parking area is roughly a half mile
to a viewing platform. There is a $2 per vehicle or $1 person to view the
falls. The charge seems to be largely reliant upon the honor system; once
you walk the paved path and steps you will be happy to pay a few dollars towards
the continued maintenance of the recreation area. There are other paths available
to explore beyond the viewing platform. This waterfall is very close to the
South Carolina Stateline.

Waterfalls. If you would like to join one of these helmet free motorcycle
