Buncombe County CBA Gathered at Riders Roost July 29-30, 2006

The Buncombe County chapter of CBA/ABATE of NC has some of the finest people you could ever meet. They really know how to make you feel welcomed; I suspect you already know this if you attend the annual Hot Springs Motorcycle Weekend. While the weather was wet Saturday morning and the early afternoon several folks came to the gathering at Riders Roost. Uncle Roy and his dog were friendly and welcomed everyone to their home along the Elk Creek in Wilkes County North Carolina.

Once Tammy, Larry and friends arrived little time was wasted organizing a cookout. Hot dogs and beer never tasted so good. The camp fire preparation was a show onto itself. I learned a new use for those battery power air pumps besides inflating mattresses. Well we stayed up quite late but I had too much fun and beer to take photos after dark. If you missed the Buncombe event be sure not to miss out on the fun next time!
