Heritage Motorcycle RallyThe final Saturday of Charleston Bike Week April 15, 2006The final Saturday of 10 days of bikes, babes, rock bands, beer, and smoke. Speaking of smoke I happened upon Brother Beaner now well known in the biker world for his fine Bean're Select cigars; he's done well for a former Charleston biker I had last ridden with in the early 90s. I arrived early to see my friends the Sons of the South. I hung out with them back stage and got some photos you may see here but others had to be editted; you had to be there to see it all. Sons of the South, Crank County Daredevils, Pinkeye d' Gekko, and Lynyrd Skynyrd played under the sun; beer sales seem brisk as the lines streched beyond 50 yards. However food vendors near by had plenty of cool drinks and relatively short lines.
